Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about rubbish removal in Albury — how pricing works, what can be collected, service areas and how to arrange a collection.

General

What areas do you service?
Core service areas include Albury, Lavington, North Albury, Thurgoona and East Albury. Nearby areas such as South Albury, Glenroy, Hamilton Valley, Springdale Heights, Table Top and Jindera may also be available depending on the job and scheduling.
How is pricing calculated?
Quotes depend on volume, weight, material type, loading time, stairs, access, distance from the vehicle, disposal fees, special handling and the number of workers required. Each job is quoted individually — there is no fixed price list.
Can you do same-day collection?
Same-day collection may be available, subject to availability. Call or send photos as early as possible to check if a same-day slot is open.
Do I need to be home for collection?
It is usually best if someone is available to confirm the items and access, but in some cases arrangements can be made. Discuss this when requesting your quote.
How do I book a collection?
Call or send photos through the free quote form. Include the rubbish type, approximate amount, suburb and any access details. The information is reviewed before availability and pricing are confirmed.
Can I send photos for a quote?
Yes — photos help us understand the amount of rubbish, item sizes and access before confirming a quote. Use the free quote form to upload multiple photos.

Services

What types of rubbish can you take?
General household rubbish, old furniture, mattresses, whitegoods and appliances, garden waste, garage and shed contents, moving rubbish, rental property waste, renovation debris and office furniture. Some items require prior confirmation — check the relevant service page for details.
Is this the same as council bin collection?
No. Council bin collection runs on a fixed schedule and only takes standard bin contents. This is a hands-on removal service where we come to your property, load the agreed items and take them away — including bulky items and waste that does not fit in your bins.
Do you do property clean-outs?
Yes. Garage, shed, spare-room, rental property and full household clearances are all available. We sort, load and remove unwanted furniture, boxes, bagged waste and mixed rubbish.
Can you remove mattresses?
Yes, mattress collection is available as a single item or alongside other rubbish. There is no minimum volume.
Can you remove fridges and appliances?
Yes, fridges, washing machines, dryers and other whitegoods can be collected. Some appliances — particularly those containing refrigerants — may require prior confirmation.
Do you take green waste?
Yes. Branches, leaves, garden clippings, shrubs, small logs and storm debris can be collected. Large stumps, heavy logs, soil, rocks and contaminated green waste require prior confirmation.
Can you remove renovation waste?
Yes, timber offcuts, plasterboard, old fixtures, flooring, packaging and general renovation debris can be collected. Concrete, bricks, tiles and soil must be discussed before collection due to weight and disposal requirements.
Do you do commercial rubbish removal?
Yes. Office furniture, shop fittings, packaging, storage-room waste and end-of-lease commercial clean-ups are available. One-off and repeat collection enquiries are welcome.

Restrictions and Access

Do you take asbestos or hazardous materials?
No. Asbestos, suspected asbestos and hazardous building materials cannot be accepted. If you suspect asbestos may be present, contact a licensed asbestos removal professional.
Can you collect concrete, bricks or soil?
Concrete, bricks, tiles, soil and other heavy materials must be discussed before collection because weight and disposal requirements affect suitability and pricing. Mention these materials specifically when requesting a quote.
Can you collect from inside the house?
Yes, with suitable access. Let us know if items are inside, upstairs, or in a hard-to-reach area so it can be factored into the quote.
What if I have stairs or difficult access?
Mention any access difficulties — stairs, narrow hallways, apartment blocks, rear-yard access — when requesting a quote so the right approach and pricing can be confirmed.

Other Questions

Do I need to sort everything before collection?
Not necessarily, but letting us know what stays and what goes helps keep the job efficient. You can point out items on the day or provide a list when requesting a quote.
Can landlords and property managers arrange clean-ups?
Yes, enquiries from landlords and property managers are welcome. Mention the property type and approximate volume when requesting a quote.
What happens to the rubbish after collection?
Items may be directed to an appropriate disposal or recycling facility where practical and available. This depends on the item type, condition and available facilities.
Do you recycle?
Items may be directed to a recycling facility where practical and available. This is not a guarantee of recycling — it is a practical approach to disposal where facilities allow.
